21/01/2008 - BBC Four announces Brecon Jazz programme dates As organisers are putting together a special celebratory programme for the 25th Brecon Jazz festival this coming August, arts tv channel BBC Four next month puts out a series of shows recorded at the 2007 festival which reflect the quality and diversity of this, one of the top five Jazz festivals in Europe.

05/10/2007 - Best Major Event in Wales 2007 The HSBC Brecon Jazz Festival has landed the Best Major Event in Wales award in this year’s ‘Tourism Oscars’, the National Tourism Awards ceremony held at Bodelwyddan Castle, Denbighshire at the weekend.


18/08/2007 - S4C’s two highlights programmes from Brecon The first of S4C’s two highlights programmes from Brecon will be broadcast 19 August at 9.15pm on S4C and S4C digidol, which is available outside Wales on Sky channel 134.

09/07/2007 - HSBC takes Brecon Jazz into Bristol school Junior groovers from Kingsweston School in Bristol are getting a taste of the world of jazz, with musicians from the internationally acclaimed Brecon Jazz Festival dropping by to give special workshops that will culminate in a children’s concert – thanks to the support of the festival’s title sponsor, the global bank HSBC.
